Talven taika
Johdanto
Talvi saapuu kaupunkiisi, ja lumimyrksyn ansiosta kaikki on pian paksun lumen peitossa. Kansalaisesi ovat aluksi innoissaan, sillä he nauttivat lumileikeistä, mutta lumimyrsky ei näytä päättyvän, ja se tekee tilanteesta vaarallisen. Lopulta kaupunkilaajuinen hätätila julistetaan, ja kansalaisia kehoitetaan pysymään sisätiloissa.

Tehtävät & tehtävien välietapit
Tehtäväsarja koostuu tarinatehtävistä ja episodimaisista tehtävistä, jotka alkavat heti kun olet suorittanut tarinatehtävät. Voit siis suorittaa ensimmäisen tehtäväsarjan heti, jonka jälkeen saat uusia tehtäviä päivittäin.
Tehtävien suorittamisessa on myös toinen hyöty. Jokainen suoritettu tehtävä vie sinut lähemmäksi seuraavaa välietappia, joka antaa sinulle lisäpalkintoja.
Tapahtumavalikko
Jokainen suoritettu tehtävä antaa sinulle postiavaimia 
palkinnoksi. Ne lisätään automaattisesti tapahtumaikkunaan. Postiavaimilla voit avata postilokeroita voittaaksesi arvokkaita ja ainutlaatuisia palkintoja. Postilokeron avaaminen antaa myös talvilahjoja 
, joilla etenet kohti pääpalkintoja. Eikä siinä kaikki! Tämän vuoden talvitapahtumassa, kun avaat postilokeron, saat yhden postitähden. Kun sinulla on vaadittu määrä tähtiä voit käyttää erikoisvoiman!
Klikkaamalla tapahtumavalikon ikonia pääset tapahtumaikkunaan, jossa on paljon hyödyllistä tietoa, ja jossa voit käyttää keräämiäsi postiavaimia:
- Tapahtuman jäljellä oleva aika.
- Nykyinen pääpalkinto, sekä esikatselu tulevista pääpalkinnoista.
- Päivittäin vaihtuva palkinto. Vie hiiresi rakennuksen päältä nähdäksesi kuvauksen.
- Postiavaintesi
tämänhetkinen määrä. - Antaa sinun ostaa postiavaimia premium-valuutalla.
- Näyttää kuinka monta talvilahjaa

Postiavaimet
Aloitat talvitapahtuman 100 postiavaimella ja jokainen suoritettu tapahtumatehtävä antaa sinulle lisää postiavaimia. Joka päivä kun pelaat tapahtumaa saat päivittäisen talvikirjautumisbonuksen, eli 25 postiavainta .
Lisäksi, löydät joskus lisää postiavaimia kaupunkisi laitamilta.
Sen jälkeen voit käyttää postiavaimiasi postilokeroiden avaamiseen. Saat lisää postiavaimia kun olet saavuttanut kolmannen tehtävien välietapin.
Muista, että talven taika kestää vain muutaman viikon, jonka jälkeen et enää voi käyttää postiavaimiasi, joten älä tuhlaa yhtään ylimääräistä aikaa!
Postal Boxes
Each day in the Winter Magic event starts with a total of 16 locked Postal Boxes that are just waiting for you to open them, using Postal Keys. At the start of each day, you will be presented with a new selection of rewards hidden within the Postal Boxes. To give you an idea of what you can win, the rewards are visible at first but you must "Shuffle" them before you open the doors to claim them.
You can activate a manual "Shuffle" at any point in time, given you have the required 45 Postal Keys.
Use your Postal Keys to open a Postal Boxes. Each one will give you a Winter Gift plus one of many different rewards like the changing Daily Exclusives, Instants, Knowledge Points, Rune Shards, special Buildings or more Postal Keys.
| Hint:If you have already found the prizes you were looking for, using the Shuffle button to get a new set of closed doors might be a good strategy. |
Special Powers
Each time you open a Postal Box, 1 Postal Star is added to the Special Powers counter. Once you have gathered the required amount you can then use the respective Power to further increase your odds!

Reshuffle - At the cost of 45 Postal Keys it presents you with new rewards, closes all previously opened Postal Boxes and allows you to "shuffle" them again. |

2x - Doubles up the rewards in the next Postal Box that is opened after activation. |

Magnifier - Shows the contents of two, as yet unopened, Postal Boxes. |
| Please Note:You cannot continue to collect additional Postal Stars if a Special Power is ready to use. Only after a Power has been used will the counter start increasing again with each new door opened. |
Winter Gifts
Each time you open a Postal Box, you will be rewarded with a Winter Gift. If you have used the "2x" Special Power previously, you will even receive two Winter Gifts.
Every Postal Box you open also contains a Winter Gift that Olla, the delivery owl, will deliver to your citizens. Once Olla delivered a total of 20 Winter Gifts, the next Grand Prize is unlocked for you.
Rewards
Evolving Building
A new Evolving Building is available in the Winter Magic Event: the Watchful Winter Owl! Your Winter Owl can be evolved through 10 stages to increase its power.

The Watchful Winter Owl provides Culture and Population and automatically produces Supplies. As an additional bonus, it also provides the production of various Goods, Mana and/or boosted Basic Sentient Goods (depending on the Chapter). As it evolves, you will receive higher amounts of these resources. When you feed your Winter Owl you will receive random Boosted Standard Goods per Neighborly Help while the feeding effect is active.

Grand Prizes & Daily Prizes
Each day, you will have a chance to win a Daily Exclusive Prize from Postal Boxes but, the real goal of this Event, is to win the fantastic Grand Prizes.
Grand Prizes include the Watchful Winter Owl Artifact, which allows you to evolve your Watchful Winter Owl to the next stage. See Evolving Buildings for more information on the evolution process.
But that's not all, as there are more awesome prizes, including Knowledge Points, Ancient Knowledge, Coin Rain Instants, Rune Shards and more.
After collecting the Daily Exclusive rewards and Grand Prizes, you will find them in your Inventory

Expiring Building
In this year's Winter Magic event, when you reach the last milestone reward, you will receive a brand new Expiring Building: the Goddess of Wishes grants you a random reward every 12 hours.
Pet Food
Pet Food is a special Enchantment designed specifically to feed your Watchful Winter owl and other Pet Evolving Buildings. Applied directly to the building from your Enchantments tab, it activates a Pet Food Boost.
Look for the recipe in your Magic Academy's Crafting tab and craft it as your Pets become hungry again after their hard work to provide their boosts.
